We are here to celebrate the life and memory of Zear R Russell Jr. Who on April 17,2020 passed away peacefully at home. He joins his late mother and father Mary Russell and Zear R Russell Sr. Also his late wife Dianne Cooper Russell who just passed away ten months earlier. Zear was born on September 11,1955 in Reidsville NC at Annie Penn Hospital in Rockingham County. He graduated from Northeast Sr High School in Mcleansville NC in Guilford County in 1973. He retired from Greensboro News and Record after thirty some years of service. He will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor, his generous heart, his love for nature and lets not forget his dance moves, his love of playing horse shoe s and weekly bowling. He is survived by his son Credell Cooper [ daughter-in-law] Toni Cooper grandson Trevon Cooper also by three sisters and one brother Lillie Williams, Faye King, Brenda Russell and James Russell also [brother & sister-in- laws] Sharon Russell, Leroy Cooper, Paula Dixon, Billy Cooper, Jerome Goods [uncle] David Foust [aunt] Isabell Harder and a host of nephew, nieces, cousins and dear friends that he touched deeply.
