Wanda Carol Miles was born on October 19, 1963 in Alamance County. She is the daughter of Mary Ann Miles and the late Hue Davis Kimber.

She attended James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. Wanda enjoyed working with people. Her love for working with people led her to become a caregiver for many years. Wanda's greatest accomplishments are her daughters, Cabria Haywood and Shayla Miles.

One of Wanda's most favorable nicknames was the name her first grandson JR gave her "Booboo". Wanda enjoyed being around her close friends, Delores Shaw and Robert Graves, as well as family.

To cherish her memories, Wanda leaves behind her beloved daughters, Cabria Haywood (Bryson) and Shayla Miles; her mother, Mary Ann Miles; her grandchildren (Booboo's) JR, Cali and Phoenix (BJ and A'vah); siblings, Portia Graves (Walter), Josh and Hue Davis Kimber, Jr.; nephews, Brandon Kimber and Brian Holloway; In addition to a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2-4 pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Chapel.

A service honoring her life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at noon at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 am.

Interment: Lakeview Memorial Park
