Walter Thomas Wall, Jr., also known as "JT," transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Walter was born on October 17, 1952, a son of Mae Lois Hill and the late Walter Thomas Wall, Sr. in Greensboro, North Carolina. He grew up in Greensboro and attended Guilford County Schools. He was a member of the St. Paul Senior Travelers and enjoyed participating in their meetings and activities. Walter was well-known and well-liked by everyone. He was always a "people person" and he enjoyed doing whatever he could to help anyone who had a need. In addition to his father, Walter Thomas Wall, Sr., his grandmother, Matie Young preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Mae Lois Hill; three children, Tracey Wall of Atmore, Alabama, Walter Wall, III and JoLavern Wall, both of Greensboro; two sisters, Malinda Wall-Shafers and Deborah Wall Blackwell, both of Greensboro; one brother, Samuel L. Wall of Greensboro; one grand-daughter, Amber Wall of Gibsonville; two nieces, Tiffany Blackwell-Hunt (Tony) of Greensboro and Bianca Wall-Gurvin (Curtis) of Baton Rouge, LA; two aunts, Louise Young and Jean Williamson-James, both of Greensboro; three nephews, Daryl Wall, Carlton Wall (Moonie), both of Greensboro and Clarence Pete Wall of Philadelphia and a host of cousins and other family and friends.
