OBITUARY "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Psalms 30:5 On Monday, April 16, 2018 an angel of the LORD was dispatched to the home of VERONICA MICHELLE WILLIAMSON-PARTEE, to escort her precious spirit back to her loving Father and Creator; and her hope of living Forever in the presence of Almighty GOD became a reality as her soul passed from death to life eternal as she was fitted with her set of wings and she became an ANGEL. VERONICA was born on August 2, 1974 to the late Walter Vernon Williamson and Reverend Deborah Vernessa Gwynn-Holland, in Reidsville, North Carolina. She grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina with her loving mother, brother, sister and step-Father (the late Coy Eudell Holland). She was reared in the Guilford County School System and graduated from Lucy Ragsdale High School. VERONICA held several jobs with her last being AT&T wireless from which she had to retire due to disability from Huntington's Disease. During Veronica's teenage years she baby sat nearly everyone's children in the neighborhood, so she could not only purchase as many pairs of shoes as possible; because she had a long-lasting love affair with shoes, but she also wanted to be able to give extravagant Birthday and Christmas gifts to her Family and Friends. This is who Veronica was, she had a passion for others, she loved giving, and the joy and smile on her face to see the happiness of others made her happy. Veronica really loved her Family and she never missed the opportunity to tell them, even in her hours of sickness and pain, she still managed to utter the words: "I LOVE YOU." VERONICA was also a very thankful person even for the least little things in life and whatever was done for her she never failed to say, "THANK YOU." Veronica was married to William (Billy) Partee III and from this union was born two beautiful children. Left to cherish Veronica's memory are her loving children, William (Will) IV and Vernessa Partee of Greensboro, her devoted mother, Reverend Deborah G. Holland, her brother Samuel E. Williamson of Greensboro, her sister Corinthia Hayes (Juan) of Happy Valley, Oregon. Special Dedicated, loving and devoted caregiver and Friend, Mr. William (Bill) Wilson of Greensboro. A host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. SPECIAL THANKS TO: Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, NC, Victoria DuBose and Min. Faye Dunn. "I'M FREE" Don't grieve for me, now I'm free. I'm following the path GOD laid you see. I took His hand when I heard His call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Task left undone must stay that way, for I've found my peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembering joys. A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full. I've savored much. Good friends, good times and a loved one's Touch. Lift up your hearts and peace to THEE. GOD WANTED ME NOW. HE SET ME FREE! Anonymous "GOD'S Garden" GOD looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looks down upon the earth, and saw your tired Face, He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. GOD's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the BEST. He knew that you were suffering; He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the Road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So, He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, "Peace Be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone… For part of us went with you the day GOD called YOU home. Anonymous A service honoring her life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at New Zion Baptist Church; 408 MLK Jr. Dr., Greensboro, NC 27406. The visitation will begin at 1 pm and the service will follow at 1:30 pm. The internment will follow the service at Lakeview Memorial Park; 3600 O'Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC.
