Pastor Venus White McLaughlin departed this life on October 10, 2018 in Greensboro, NC (Guilford County). She was born October 28, 1951 in Fayetteville, NC (Cumberland County) to Robert and Mother Zella B. (Martin) White. The Alumni of E.E. Smith Golden Bulls in Fayetteville, NC had many athletic achievements. She favored cheerleading and traveled with her team supporting them as a leader. Excelling in leadership, she was called by God to minister. Obtaining her Minister License in 1994 at Gospel Feast Revival Temple, under the leadership of Pastor Brandon Thompson. Continuing her education at Guilford Technical Community College in 2012, she successfully obtained degrees in Business Administration and Medical Billing and Coding. Venus White McLaughlin plated in the ministry for God in 2013 as she accepted her Pastoral Ordination under the leadership of Overseer Pastor Charlotte Bryan of Faith Tabernacle Church of Siler City, NC. Pastor Venus White McLaughlin was greatly cherished by her family: Dennis E. and Apostle Deborah White, Robert and Kasie McLaughlin and her youngest, Prophet Joel McLaughlin, all of Greensboro; daughter Carol Shepard of Statevilles, NC, her sister Evangelist Sheron White Baskerville, her brothers Bishop Johnnie1L, and Pastor Bambara White and Sherman White. Her grandchildren Shanitra T. White, Micah D. McLaughlin, Robert M. McLaughlin, Matthew J. McLaughlin and a host of nieces and nephews.
