Vanessa Gail Ford Lowery was born in Lumberton, NC on October 12, 1954 to the late William Clarence Ford and Cora Lee Arnette Ford. She departed this life on July, 26, 2020.

Vanessa graduated from James B Dudley High School in Greensboro, NC. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. Vanessa was a member of Providence Baptist Church and received her Lord and Savior at an early age.

Vanessa Gail Ford Lowery married her sweetheart, Clifford Lowery, on May 3, 1981 and to this union was born a son, William Clifford Lowery, better known as WC.

She was employed by American Airlines for 33 years. Vanessa enjoyed life and was a devoted wife and mother. She would tell her precious son, WC, to keep the faith and the promises God has for you.

Vanessa leaves to cherish her loving memories- her loving husband, Clifford Lowery; son, William Clifford Lowery (Sparkle); brother, Ronnal V. Ford (Debra); nephew, Ronnal Ford II; niece, Sheila Jenkins; two great-nephews, Ian Jenkins and Aeon Horne; one great-niece, Journey Horne; an aunt, Mazel Arnette; four cousins, Ronald Arnette, Robert Arnette, Carroll Arnette, and James Arnette; along with a host of family members and friends. A private joint service with her mother, Cora Lee Ford, will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Guilford Memorial Park.
