Timothy Leon Sloan was born June 5, 1955 to Bertina M. Sloan and Walter H. Sloan. He departed this life on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Forsythe Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.Timothy graduated from Page High School and enlisted in the United States Army. He served as an Indirect Fire Infantry Specialist and later became a Paratrooper. Following his military career, he became a painter by trade.Timothy leaves to cherish his memories: mother: Mrs. Bertina Sloan; sisters: Mrs. Victoria Evans of Norfolk, Virginia and Mrs. Walter Mae Pennix of Greensboro, North Carolina; brothers: Reginald, Jeffrey, Maurice and Franklin all of Greensboro, North Carolina; loving step-children: daughter: â??The Rockâ?? and son: Ernest King; a loving auntie: Hazel Thompson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
