Timothy Anthony Fogle, Sr. was born in Winston-Salem, NC on September 4, 1940. He was the eldest son to the late Rev. Samuel L. Fogle, Sr and Lucille Fogle. The earthly portion of his spiritual journey ended at his home on July 4, 2016. Timothy spent his life in Greensboro, NC where he was educated in the Guilford County Public Schools and was a proud graduate of James B. Dudley Senior High School. He retired from Sears Roebuck & Company, but continued to work as he was able for many years. Timothy was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine and a half years, Joann Fogle. Timothy was an active member of Saint Paul Baptist Church where he served in many capacities, including: the Deacon ministry, Bible Study, New Members Class, Senior Travelers, and Prayer Band. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter-Sherry Fogle Cooper of Greensboro; son- Timothy A. FogleJr of High Point; two brothers- Samuel L. Fogle Jr (Stella) of Indian Trail, William Preston Fogle, MD (Jackie) of Delray Beach, Fl; three sisters Frances Jenkins of Greensboro, Joanne Franco (Jim) of Woodland Hills, Ca, Nadeanne Visor (Myron) of Greensboro; grandchildren-Dione Fogle of Greensboro, Isroe Cooper IV of Greensboro, Shannon (Charles) Atwell of Charlotte, and Alora Fogle of High Point; great grandchild-Carter Atwell of Charlotte and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Fogle died on Monday, July 4, 2016. A service honoring the life of Mr. Fogle will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Saint Paul Baptist Church; 1309 Larkin Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27406.
