Called to rest on July 5, 2020, Mrs. Thelma McWhite was born to Mabel and Willie Woodberry in Florence SC, on November 9, 1926. Mrs. McWhite was the youngest of five girls. She married Effort McWhite in September 1944. She was preceded in death by both parents, her four sisters, her husband, her son E.F McWhite and 2 daughters Doretha McWhite and Barbara Jean (McWhite) Witherspoon.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mary (McWhite) Phillips and Merline McWhite, her son Henry Brown; 9 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

A viewing to the public will be held at Brown's Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 2pm to 5 pm and a graveside burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11am.

The family appreciates all the kind words in remembrance of their loved one and your condolences. Her daughter, Mary Phillips will host friends and family following the burial service.
