Ms. Tadiana Hasan graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro, NC.
Tadiana Elisha Hasan, born June 11, 2004, in Atlanta, GA, died unexpectedly on July 10, 2025, at the residence of Benjamin Rogers in Durham, NC. She was 21 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden passing.
Tadiana attended the School of Performing Arts in Greensboro, NC, where she took piano lessons. She later attended Guilford Technical Community College, where she majored in Psychology. She began piano lessons at the age of five and also played the trumpet, violin, viola, and cello. She participated in String Camp at St. John's Lutheran Church, sponsored by the Salisbury Symphony. Tadiana worked at Ralph Lauren and Crumbl Cookies. She earned a green belt in Chayon-Ryu, and she loved listening to music, reading, and playing with her daughter. Tadiana was also an avid swimmer.
Tadi, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this Earth was marked by love and compassion. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her life. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for how she lived—and for the profound impact she made on those who knew her.
Tadi is survived by her loving daughter, Xenovia Giovanni Hasan; her mother, Ebony Aesha Wingate of Charlotte, NC; her father, Bernard Kelly of Atlanta, GA; her grandparents, Barbara and Abdullah Hasan of Greensboro, NC; her sister, Taailayah Sierra Hasan of Greensboro, NC; two uncles, Rasheed Hasan of Spencer, NC, and Sidney Johnson of Racine, WI; seven great-aunts: Dorothy Clay (Oak Grove) of Greenville, NC, Janet Payton of Greenville, NC, Bernadette Miller (Curtis) of Marietta, GA, Darlene Fleming (Canaan) of Greenville, NC, Carlene Carr (Gene) of Spotsylvania, VA, Frances Carr of Greenville, NC, and Georgina Lee (Lamar) of New Haven, CT; two great-uncles, William Payton and James Payton, both of Greenville, NC; and a special friend, Benjamin Rogers of Durham, NC.
Although Tadi's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
