On October6, 2025, Sibyl Elaine Curry, lovingly known as "Big Sibyl", peacefully transitioned from this life at the blessed age of 75, in Greensboro, NC. Sibyl was born on July 7, 1950, in Columbus, GA. She workes as a phlebotomist until her retirement.

Upon her mother's passing, "Big Sibyl" gracefully helped to raise her younger siblings with love only amother could give.

Mother Curry was proceeded in death by her mother, Lenora Royster Harris and stepfather, Gus T. Harris; sisters, Veda G. Harris and Pattron B. Linnen.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son Rex Harris; siblings Juan Harris, Grace Rembert, Lenora Harris, Richard Harris, Stacy Harris, and April Harris.

Mother Curry was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Ashley Harris and Renajah Harris, who graced her with four beautiful great grandchildren, Allana Stafford, Pricilla Dixon, Rory Rohan, and Ahmiri Allah.

She will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives, church family and friends.

Ms. Sibyl Curry, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401 Visitation will be held prior at 11:30am.
