Henry Andrews and Esther Urey Andrews, on December 31, 1964, in Monrovia, Liberia. He was the eighth child of the ten children from that union. Godfreyâ??s sisters and brothers include; L Mario, Beatrice Andrews Chenoweth, Precious Andrews Greaves, G Henry Andrews Jr., C Benedict Andrews, Peaches Andrews Madiou, L Douglas Andrews, Princess Andrews Howard, Alice Andrews DeShield.Godfrey started his early childhood school at Phillips and Barnes Preparatory School and completed elementary school at J. J. Roberts. He attended St. Patrickâ??s High School and later joined his brothers in Ghana. After a year in Ghana, his brothers decided to further their education in the United States, and he decided to go back home, Liberia. He received his high school diploma from L.T.I, Lofa County, Liberia, where he made a lot of good friends and cherished his days at L.T.I.Godfrey came to the United States to further his education. He left his clone with Mommy, son, Vanjah in Liberia. Mommy happily embraced Vanjah and showered him with love. He attended Clarion State University, Clarion, PA, where he met the mother of his second child, Joan Marie. Later he met and married the mother of his third child, Destiny, and they relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina. Godfrey adored his children and wanted the very best for them. He enjoyed food and worked at several restaurants as manager. He was always well mannered, calm, soft spoken, hard working, friendly and easy going. We will miss him dearly.Godfrey, our darling father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, we thank God for allowing us to be a part of your short time here on earth. When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Now that you are gone our hearts are broken and now we are crying; but we trust that you are rejoicing. May you rest in perfect peace.
