Ms. Ruth Corbett Torain, daughter of the late Mr. Baile Corbett and Mrs. Sular Rogers Corbett was born in Hillsboro, North Carolina on July 22, 1940, and she departed this life on July 8, 2022 at Beacon Place AuthoraCare Collective.

Ms. Torain leaves to cherish her life memories: three sons: Mr. Robert Torain(Darleen), Greensboro, North Catrolina, Mr. Roy Torain(LaTonye) Graham, North Carolina, Mr. Raymond Torain, Greensboro, North Carolina. Daughter: Ms. Regina Torain Greensboro, North Carolina, sister Ms. Annie Parker of New Mexico. Four grandchildren: Mr. Ricardo Hodge (Theresina) of Washington DC, Ms. Rochelle Torain, Greensboro, North Carolina, Ms. Keyona Torain of Greensboro, Mr.Rodney Torain of South Carolina. Five great grandchildren: Ms. Kaila Torain of South Carolina, Mr. Ricardo Jr., Ms. Raekwon Hodge, Ms. Adrianony Perry, Mr. Leon Hodge, Washington, DC, preceded her in death, two brothers twins Mr. Rufus Corbett, and Mr. Charlie Corbett, one sister Ms. Daisy Poole.

Mrs. Ruth C. Torain, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1pm, Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home.
