Mr.Robert Lewis, Jr. was born on November 11, 1945 in Tupelo Mississippi to Robert and Odessa Lewis. He was the youngest of two children. He attended Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, completing the 12th grade. He then married Patricia Ann Drew in 1966 and were married for 50 years. They have three children Thlitha, Robert III, Carmelita and one son-law Johnny Shelton. He also has 6 grandchildren. Shawnda and Shawnta Shelton. Uriel, Samiyah, Xasia and Nafia Lewis. He also left behind a sister Rose Mary Bird, one niece and four nephews and the Drew Family. Mr. Lewis was an employee at Proctor Gamble Paper Company, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri for 25 years and worked at Johnson Control, in Kernersville, NC for 15 years. He was also a member of Masonic in Cape Girardeau Mo. He departed this life on Saturday morning, April 15th at home with his love ones. Most importantly, Robert accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. A service honoring the life of Robert Lewis, Jr. will be held at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home; 909 East Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27401 on Tuesday, April, 25, 2017. The visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the service will follow at 12:00 noon.
