ROBERT COWAN was born April 10, 1940 in Rowan County to the late Robert Lee Cowan and Eldora Wood.

Robert attended the Rowan County Public School System. He moved to Greensboro at the age of fifteen (15). He found his expertise in the field of concrete mastery and became one of the finest in town. He also could do magic with a paint brush. He surely will be missed.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter: Diane Cowan; grandson: Marvin Murray; brothers: Marvin Cowan, James Leroy Cowan (Bubba), Charles Cowan and Clearance Cowan.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories daughters: Annette Murray and Roberta Murray; his sunshine miracle: Felch; Companion Earnestine Shepherd and his loving grandchildren: Shawn Murray, Pashion Murray, Marlow Murray, Tasha Murray, Alicia Shepherd, Tiffany Shepherd, Jessie Shepherd, and Dennis Shepherd.
