GREENSBORO â?? Renaldo Graham Alexander, 66, answered the call of Jesus on Sunday morning, February, 10, 2013 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital The funeral service is Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the Cassie Coote Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. Family visitation begins at 12 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. Renaldo was born on December 24, 1946, in Guilford County to the late Nathaniel G. Alexander and Doris K. McCain Alexander. He left his family at an early age to attend the State School for the Blind and the Deaf in Raleigh, NC. Although he was hearing impaired, he accepted life's challenges with a positive attitude. Renaldo was trained in shoe repair in Winston-Salem, NC, and he worked for a number of years at Franks' Shoe Shop in Summit Shopping Center as a shoe repairman. He also worked a part-time job at the Raleigh Street Pool Room. He had a wonderful personality, never met a stranger, and was known by everyone. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile. Renaldo was a very dependable person. After retirement, he devoted himself to caring for his mother during the last days of her life. He was deeply loved by his family and will be truly missed. Renaldo is survived by his eldest sister, Sandra A. Cook (Roy F.), youngest sister, Phyllis D. Alexander, his twin brother, Rondal G. Alexander (Sandra), all of Greensboro. Also left to cherish his memory are nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends. The family thanks the staff of Moses Cone Emergency Services and Department 5100 for their dedication.
