Ralph K. Shelton of Greensboro, NC passed Friday, February 19, 2016. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA, to the late Ralph and Eva Shelton. Ralph was also preceded in death by his brother, Orlander Shelton and daughter, Cassandra Shelton. He is survived by wife, Christine Shelton; sisters, Marian Keyes and Dorothy Diggs of Chatham, VA, Geneva DuBose of W. Hyattsville, MD, Sylvia Brady (Elmer) of Greensboro, NC, Wanda Carr of Stone Mountain, GA; brothers, Fletcher Shelton (Doris) of Silver Spring, MD, Edward Shelton of Charlotte, NC, William Shelton (Maddeline) of Lithonia, GA, Larry Shelton (Barbara) of Daleville, VA, and Michael Shelton of Petersburg, VA; brothers-in-law, Clarence Crutchfield (Mary) of Rockville, MD and Ronald Crutchfield (Katie) of Harrisburg, PA; sisters-in-law, Claudelia Daniel (Charles) of Rocky Mount, NC and Mattie Howard of East Orange , NJ; goddaughter, Camillia Copeland Amouzou of Glendale, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 1106 Tuscaloosa St., Greensboro, NC. Family visitation will start at 12 noon prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Ralph & Christine Shelton Endowment Fund at North Carolina A&T State University and to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro – Beacon Place.
