Phyllis Mason Jackson, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and retired social worker died peacefully on August 1, 2015 from a brief illness.  Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org. Funeral services will be performed Saturday, August 8, 2015, 12:00 pm at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1309 Larkin Avenue, Greensboro, NC. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 am -12:00 pm.   Born in Rock Hill, SC, Phyllis is a graduate of Emmett Scott High School and Shaw University. After marriage she and her husband, Ambrose, made their home in Greensboro, NC.  She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ambrose H. Jackson of 57 years, 3 children; daughter Jennifer Parker, (Melvin), Buffalo, NY, Angela Graham (Ervin) Durham, NC, Ambrose Jackson,Jr.(Jennifer) Kernersville, NC, Yvonne Mitchell of Greensboro, her niece whom she loved dearly, 8 grandchildren, and an extended family that includes brother and sister- in- laws, nieces, nephews, cousins,  and friends.
