GREENSBORO â?? Mrs. Pecolia Ann Brower Cropps passed away on December 14, 2011. She was born in Ramsuer, NC on May 13, 1943 to Lizzie Smith Brower and the late LeRoy Alston; also, a stepfather, the late Cleo Brower. Pecolia leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Lizzie Smith Brower; daughter: Lori Ann Cropps; granddaughter: Torrie Ann Cropps; sisters: Brenda Brower of Smyrna, Georgia; Felicia Cofield of Greensboro, NC; Venessa Lyon (Walter) of Durham, NC; Cleta Pope of Asheboro, NC; brothers: Sherman Brower of Greensboro, NC and Dwight L. Alston (Lettie) of Denver, CO. The family will receive friends at 1701 11th St. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, at 11:30 a.m.; the funeral service will follow at 12 noon at Metropolitan United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Market St., Greensboro. Burial will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park. Perry J. Brown Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
