Patrick E. Hargraves was born on October 19, 1938 in Guilford County to the late Floyd & Ada Ratliff Hargraves. He graduated from James B. Dudley High School, Class of 1956. Patrick was employed by Greensboro Manufacturing Company, before being bought out by Levi Strauss & Company, where he worked for a lifetime and retired. Patrick was preceded in death by wife: Gertrude Hargraves, siblings: Waldo, Ronnie, Kenny, Elaine, Jacqueline, and Carolyn Hargraves. Patrick leaves to cherish his memories: children: Roderick (Theresea) Hargraves, Parrish (Tonya) Hargraves; five (5) grandsons; three (3) granddaughters; one (1) brother: Michael (Betty) Hargraves; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel; 909 East Market Street; Greensboro North Carolina 27401 on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The visitation will begin at 2:30 pm and the service will follow at 3:00 pm.
