Patricia Ann Robertson-Dyer, affectionately known as "TrishAnn", was born on December 16, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina and went to be with our Lord on June 10, 2016. She was the daughter of Sarah Moody-Taylor and Joseph "Rocky" Robertson, Sr. Patricia was preceded in death by her late husband, Marc Elliott Dyer, Sr. and her late son Marc Elliott Dyer, Jr. She grew up in rural South Carolina with her family before graduating Eau Claire High School, Columbia, SC. After graduation she married and moved to Colorado Springs, CO where she began life as a military wife and started a family of her own. Over the many years as a military wife, she lived in various places both in and outside of the country and gave birth to her daughter Takiyah Lerato Dyer and her son, Marc Elliott Dyer, Jr. After completing their military tour of duty, the family moved to Ossining, NY where the rest of her husband's family lived, and she gave birth to her youngest daughter, Brionna Renee Dyer. After living in Ossining for some time, Patricia and her children settled in Greensboro, NC in September of 1994. She had a loving, ambitious and altruistic spirit and carried an infectious smile which lit up an entire room. She never met a stranger. She was "Ma" to all the children in the neighborhood, like a sister to all of her friends, and the "right hand" to anyone that she worked for as an Executive Assistant throughout her career. She was an extremely hard working mother and did everything possible to make sure that her children had everything they needed and most of what they wanted. She touched a lot of people in this world and was greatly loved by all of them. She is survived by her parents Sarah Moody-Taylor of Columbia, SC and Joseph Robertson, Sr. of Hopkins, SC, her daughters Takiyah Lerato Dyer and Brionna Renee Dyer of Greensboro, NC, her grandchildren, Kaila Janae "Puddin Pop" White and Makenzie Elise "Thug Muffin" Dyer of Greensboro, NC, her brothers and sisters, Joseph Robertson, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Kennard Robertson of Columbia, SC, Janet Marie Bouttry of Houston, TX, and Mishonda Deshelle Robertson of Columbia, SC and loving host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed and cherished in our hearts forever. A service honoring the life of Ms. Robertson will take place on Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Cassie Coote – Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home; 909 East Market Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27420. The service will begin at 3:00 pm.
