Pastor Truie Elizabeth Dorsett, 89, crossed over Monday, August 19, 2013. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Simpson and Annie Makins. She labored in the vineyard for many souls. She was truly a praying woman of God. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Glen Dorsett, Gail D. Miller, Tony D. Garrett, Bruce Dorsett, Phyllis D. Rudd, Truie D. Barnes, Dean Dorsett, Andre Dorsett, Darren Dorsett, (Baby Girl) Katrina D. Davis, and a special niece, Charlene Graves, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dorsett, son Walter Raye Dorsett and daughter, Brenda K. Dorsett. Homegoing will be at Power House of Deliverance Garden of Cathedral, Monday August 26, 2013. Visitation at 12:30 p.m. Homegoing at 1 p.m. Interment at Guilford Memorial Park.
