Nancy Ernestine (Tiny) Chisholm, 81, departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1934 to the late William and Geneva Seagraves in Moore County, NC. Nancy attended Berkley HS in Aberdeen, NC. She was married to the late Herbert H, Chisholm Sr, when they relocated to Greensboro, NC following several of her siblings to the area in order to provide a better life. Known for her compassion and loving spirit for her family, she also had a love for music, especially gospel, singing in Moore County area churches and on their local radio station. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Herbert H. Chisholm Jr. (Penny) of High Point, Anthony Chisholm of Greensboro, Jerome I. Chisholm of Greensboro and daughters; Carolyn Seagraves of Candor, Susan A. Seagraves of Greensboro, Virginia D. Chisholm of Greensboro, Sandra E. Chisholm of Greensboro, and Tonya N. Chisholm of Greensboro. Also left to cherish her memory are one sister, Wilma Whitaker of Philadelphia, PA and one brother, Arthur Seagraves of High Point; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons Lawrence C. Seagraves and Herman J. Seagraves. Four Sisters; Etta Mae Reaves, Louise Mial, Zaylene Colman, Dorothy Nicholson; Five brothers; Herbert Seagraves (her twin), Perry Seagraves, Zannie Seagraves, Wallace Seagraves, Lindsay Seagraves; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015. Visitation at 10:00am with service beginning at 10:30am at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home's Chapel, 909 East Market St, Greensboro, NC.
