IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michaela
Brewington-Thompson
March 24, 2014
Michaela Brewington-Thompson "Chaela" was the sunshine in everyone's life she touched. A wonderful person, so kind and true, loyal and friendly to all she knew. A light in the darkness, a flower in the weeds, willing and ready to help those in need. She was born in High Point, North Carolina on March 27, 1967 and departed this earthly life on March 24, 2014 when she heard God call her name. She now sits at the gate with Him with a smile on her face. Michaela was born to the late Michael D. Brewington Sr. and Audrea S. Brewington. She graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High School in 1985 and attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical College majoring in Accounting. She was a faithful employee of the United States Postal Service for 21 years. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro, Inc. where she was an active participant in the Discipleship Class. She served as an armor bearer for many family members offering prayers and words of encouragement. Chaela leaves to cherish her memories, son Carrington "Carnell" Brewington-Thompson, daughter Serena Brianna Thompson, mother Audrea Brewington, brothers Michael D. Brewington II (Andrea), of Atlanta GA, Randy Brewington (Nicole) of Raleigh NC, special friend/father of her children Steve A. Thompson, special uncle Daniel Norman (Lori), special aunt Wilhelmina Williams and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and devoted friends. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 starting at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro, Inc., 1301 Alamance Church Road, Greensboro, North Carolina 27406.
