Michael Deon "Dinko" Young, was born in Greensboro, NC on May 13, 1974 to Jeanette and Randolph Young. He was a father, grandfather, brother, family member, and friend. He departed this world on June 8, 2026. Michael attended Ben L. Smith high school. He worked for the Olympic company for 6 years as a supervisor.

Michael was truly a man of many talents. He possessed a remarkable ability to learn and master just about anything he set his mind to. Known for his intelligence and problem-solving skills, he was a computer whiz who could fix, and troubleshoot with ease. He had a passion for automobiles and enjoyed working on cars, often lending his talents and knowledge to family and friends. Beyond his many skills, Michael will be remembered for his unique spirit, humor, and willingness to help others.

He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including mother and father Jeanette and Randolph Young, his sons, Michael D. Young Jr. and Steven R. Young. Granddaughters, Harmony and Nevaeh, Nasir Douglas godson of Michael 's brother Don Young who proceeded him in death in 2006, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026 12:00pm Cassie Coote Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina.
