Mr. Michael Hampton, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023 1:30 pm Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home 909 East Market Street Greensboro, North Carolina. 1 pm Visitation.

Michael Lawrence Hampton was born on September 7, 1956 to the late Lela Maxcine Hampton (Greensboro, North Carolina) and Lawrence Hampton (New Jersey).

Michael transitioned from this life on May 20, 2023. In addition to his parents Michael was preceded in death by his nephew, Dana Hampton, Jr and his daughter, Crystal Rosser.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his two sons, Quentin Rosser and Kenny Rosser; two brothers, Dana Hampton, Sr. and Bobby Hampton, Sr. (Brenda); three sisters, Jeannette Gregory (Tim), Wendy Brown and Candy Johnson (Darryl); six grandchildren, Armani, Orlando, Jah'qeun, Miracol, Naudia and Joel; three great-grandchildren; four nephews, Bobby Hampton, Jr., Timothy Gregory, II, Jeremy and Pop Johnson; four nieces, special niece Brittney Hampton, Dominique Hampton, Toddy Johnson and Shaneisha Gregory; one great nephew, Timothy Gregory III; and two great nieces, Leila Botchway and Ivy Hampton. He also had many cousins, who he loved very much.
