Matthew Thomas LeGrand III passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2022, at his home in Greensboro, NC. He was born March 14th, 1955, in Wilkesboro North Carolina, the son of Matthew Thomas LeGrand Jr and Marion Elizabeth Bailey (Sue) LeGrand.

Celebration of life Saturday, July 30, 2022 10am until 2pm Bryan Park Browns Summit, North Carolina.

Matthew graduated from Wilkes Central High School, Class of 1974. After graduating, Matthew studied at Durham Technical Community College where he pursued his passion in diesel mechanics and ultimately repaired and restored vehicles. Matthew also enjoyed being a "DJ" at local venues in the Greater Greensboro area and was known as a skilled and intuitive mixer among his avid listeners.

Matthew is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Thomas LeGrand, Jr and Marion Elizabeth (Sue) LeGrand and is survived by three siblings, Randolph Julius (Randy) LeGrand of Sugar Land, Texas, Jacqueline Renaee (Jackie) Hudson of Fresno, Texas, Cedric Joseph LeGrand, Winston Salem, North Carolina and a host of family and friends.Mr. Matthew LeGrand, Jr. passed away June 25, 2022 at his residence.
