On Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her residence, Mary Louise Miller took the hand of an angel and transitioned to her heavenly home.

Mary was born December 21, 1939 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late C. W. Burke and Marguerite Burke. She was married to the late Brian Miller, the love of her life. Mary retired from UNCG after working there for several years. She attended Higher Ground Ministry.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Brian Miller and her parents, Marguerite and C.W. Burke.

She leaves to cherish her memories Roy Lee, Romana Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home located at 909 East Market Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. A visitation will be held at 1:30 pm, prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Piedmont Memorial Cemetery located at 2716 McConnell Road in Greensboro, North Carolina.
