Mrs. Margaretta Grant passed on July 13, 2025.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Chapel located at 909 East Market Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation will be held prior at 12:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery located at 3600 N. O'Henry Boulevard in Greensboro, NC.

Mrs. Margaretta R. Grant passed away at the age of ninety-nine on July 13, 2025. She was born in Gibsonville, North Carolina, on February 10, 1926.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Grant held several roles: she worked as a physical therapist, was employed by Family and Children's Services, and provided childcare. Her hobbies included dancing and walking. She also loved helping others. She was a member of several clubs and was actively involved with the Girl Scouts at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Grant.

She is survived by her daughters: Teresa Leazer (George), Pamela Womack (Ricky), and Teresa Ann Grant; sons: Timothy E. Grant (Amelda) and Samuel Louis; grandchildren: Destiny Grant, Alex Grant, Michael Oliver (Bridgett), Daisy, Leonard; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
