She departed this life on December 19, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents: brother: Elzie Moore; and sister: Catherine Moore Phillips.Mrs. Riggins enjoyed working in her garden and canning. She loved flowers and was a great cook for the family, especially during the holidays. She was a member of Fruit of the Spirit Church Holiness Church, Inc. for many, many years.Mrs. Riggins leaves to cherish her memory: sister: Ferne Stainback of Gibsonville, North Carolina; sons: Thomas Riggins, Deacon Jerry Riggins, and Billy Riggins all of Greensboro, North Carolina; daughters: Geraldine Riggins and Marilyn Riggins both of Greensboro, North Carolina; five (5) grandchildren: Ray, Greg, Bernadette, Danielle, and Kendall; four (4) great grandchildren; Latia, LaShawn, Lastasia, and Kiara; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
