Maggie Foust Bright passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born to Corbett and Dora Foust on May 1, 1916. She attended the Greensboro Public School System.Maggie was married to Chester Bright (deceased) and is survived by daughters: Cheryl Whitsett and Velda Maconison; son: Nicholas Bright; daughter-in-law: Frances Bright; granddaughter: Nicole Whitsett; and a sister: Mildred Clarke.Maggie attended Lutheran College and for many years lived in Washington, North Carolina. She lived with her family as a licensed beautician and owned her own business.Maggie moved back to Greensboro in 1971, and became actively involved in a number of organizations, such as Teen Challenge, RSVP and the senior citizen program at St. Maryâ??s Catholic Church. She especially enjoyed her volunteer work in the Thrift Shop at Teen Challenge, arts & crafts classes at RSVP and the many friends she made at St. Maryâ??s Catholic Church.Maggie has been a member of Grace Lutheran Church for over thirty (30) years.
