Banks, was born on June 25, 1917 in Roanoke, Virginia. Mom departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Maple Gove Nursing Home in Greensboro, North Carolina.Luella was a devoted mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked for Hostess Bakery for many years before she decided to dedicate her life to caring for children.Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Banks; and two sons, Hugh Banks, Jr. and George Banks.Luella leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Sharon Camack, Sarah Ann Holland; sons, Lee Parker, Earl Page (Cynthia), Ronnie Holland; grandchildren that she raised, Brandon Banks and Neshia Banks; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 9 great, great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
