Loraine Owens Bailey, 82, passed away on April, 16, 2017 in the home. She will be remembered by all who loved her for her overwhelming ability of making you feel special, and always saying what she meant and meaning what she said. She was everyoneâ??s â??Nannyâ?? and she will be sorely missed. She leaves behind two siblings: John Owens (Joan) and Helen Owens Sellars, her 8 children: Edward Bailey, Veronica Jones (Bruce), Sharon Carpenter, Marva McBroom (Junior), Ardale Gant, Robin Patterson, and Gerrard & Reginald Bailey. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild to carry on her legacy. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday April 21, 2017 at 12 noon. Visitation will begin at 11:30am at the East Market Street Seventh-day Adventist Church. 1804 E. Market St., Greensboro.
