Ms. Lessie Mae Alston passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019. A service honoring her life will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home, 909 E. Market St. Greensboro, NC. The visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the service will follow at 12 pm. The interment will take place following the service at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O'Henry Blvd. Greensboro, NC. Reflections Ms. Lessie Mae Alston, was born on October 20, 1945 she is the daughter of the late William Alston Sr. and Mary W. Alston. Lessie Mae was born in Greensboro NC. She attended Popular Grove School. She was a resident of South Plainfield New Jersey for over 30 years. Lessie Mae worked for Revlon in Edison and Homdell New Jersey for over 34 years before retiring from there. She also worked for a Wal-Mart and Burlington Coat Factory. She died in Robert Wood Johnson hospital in Somerset New Jersey. Lessie Mae is proceeded by her sister Mammie Alston, Her sister Catherine Neal, Her father William Alston Sr., Her mother Mary W. Alston, Her brother Tommy Lee Moody, Her nephew Tyrone Neal, Her sister Vera Gaillard and Her brother William Alston Jr. She left to cherish her memory her daughter Sabrina Alston (Andre) of Myrtle Beach sc. 3 grandchildren Taniqua Alston of Bronx, NY, Keith Alston (Angel) of Myrtle Beach SC and Taisha Rahim (Zain) of Woodland NC. Her brother James Alston (Blanch) of Greensboro NC. Her sister Mary Bennett (Noel) of Bronx NY. Her brother Tyrone Alston (Sally) of Greensboro NC. One sister in law Mrs. Lizzie Curry Alston of Macon GA. 20 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Marion Marshall a very dear friend of Bronx NY. And a host of nieces, Nephews and friends.
