Lee Dossie Andrews, ESQ was called home to glory on November 2, 2013. Lee was born on June 10, 1937 to George E. Andrews and the late Margia L. Andrews in Riegelwood, NC. Lee attended East Arcadia High School in Bladen County, NC. He then attended North Carolina A&T State University, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and pledged Alpha Phi Alpha. After completing his degree, Lee joined the United States Army. After serving his country Lee moved to New York where he worked as a social worker with the department of Social Services. Lee decided to further his education at Howard University where he received his law degree and attended George Washington University where he received his post graduate degree. Upon completing his education, Lee returned to Greensboro, NC. He was employed at his alma mater, A&T State University as a staff attorney and a law professor. He later opened his own law practice Lee Andrews, Attorney at Law, a full-service law firm serving individuals and businesses throughout North Carolina. While in Greensboro, Lee met the love of his life, Denise in 1982. Lee and Denise married in 1986 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Their union birthed two beautiful daughters. He was a member at Trinity AME Zion Church and a loyal supporter of Evangel Fellowship COGIC. Lee was a philanthropist who had a heart of helping people. Through his experience and knowledge he birthed many entrepreneurs that he guided to success. Lee was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and role model. He gave his life to his family and friends. He touched many lives. He lived his life to the fullest. Left to cherish his loving memories is his loving, caring and devoted wife of 27 prosperous years Denise Davis Andrews; four daughters: Blaire, Brooke and Destiny of the home and Danielle of Wilmington, NC; sons: Tyrone Young (Carolyn) of Mitchellville, MD, Corbett Anderson (Shannon) of Virginia; Father: George E. Andrews (Mary) of Riegelwood, NC; Brothers: George "Billy" Andrews (Frances) of Springfield, MA, Roosevelt Andrews (Carolyn) of Wilmington, NC, Arvin L. Andrews (Gloria) of Riegelwood, NC, Eddie Andrews of Wilmington, NC; sisters: Joyce Crosson of Riegelwood, NC and Carolyn Andrews of Greensboro, NC; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
