Kevin Reginald Garrett WON his battle with cancer on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Hospice of the Piedmont, High Point, North Carolina Born September 30, 1963, in East Orange, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Cecil Garrett and Bonnie Allen Garrett. He was married for 27 years to Julia Paula Garrett. In addition to his mother and wife survivors include one son, Kevin Reginald "KJ" Garrett, Jr. one sister, Beverly Parker; two sisters-in-law, Mattie (William) Motley and Betty Williams; one brother-in-law, Stan (Rose) Waddell; nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church located at 1106 Tuscaloosa Street, Greensboro NC with Rev. Dr. Darryl Warren Aaron, Eulogist. Visitation will begin at 3:30pm with services following at 4pm. Burial, including Military Honors will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 10am at Salisbury National Cemetery located at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144. Brown's Funeral Directors are assisting the family.
