Mrs. Katherine Isabel Cobb passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

A service honoring her life will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 12pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home; 909 E. Market St. Greensboro, NC. The visitation will begin at 11:30am.

The interment will take place following the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Katherine Isabel Cobb was born on January 9, 1932 in Greensboro, North Carolina to parents Lillian and Mack Ellis. She passed away on October 1, 2023.

She was a proud graduate of James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. Following this, she continued her education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina where she obtained her bachelor's degree in food and nutrition with a minor in general science.

Katherine was employed at Bethesda Jewish Hospital and served as a head dietitian at Saint Elizabeth Covington Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She loved painting and cooking.

Katherine is survived by her four children and one adopted child: Phyllis Kay Cobb, Ellen Joy Mattis, Jill E. Thompson, Amy R. Cobb, and Debbie Phillips; her ten grandchildren; and her great-grandson.
