Mrs. Katherin Fe-Nee Jones Brooks was born on August 22, 1955 and left this earthly life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Katherin was the daughter of the late Willie L. Jones and Mae A. Jones.

She is survived by her husband Willie Brooks of Greensboro, her daughter Masha Tanyet Jones of Savannah, GA, sisters Geraldine McDonald of Rockville, Maryland, Cinda Jones of Greensboro, North Carolina, and her brothers William K. Jones of Greensboro, North Carolina, Edwin B. Jones of Chicago, Illinois ,Charles V. Jones of Greensboro, North Carolina and R. Berry Jones of Greensboro, North Carolina. Her sister Rosa Elaine Core of Saxapahaw, North Carolina preceded her in death.

Katherin was a passionate educator, crafter, and an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.

She will be missed by extended family, friends, and colleagues.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
