Joseph Lee Troxler, Sr., was born on April 15, 1964 in Rockingham County to the late Joseph and Dorothy Troxler. They moved to Greensboro, North Carolina when Joe was eleven (11) years old where he attended the Guilford County School System. Joe was preceded in death by his father Joseph Lee Troxler; brother: Raymond Troxler; sisters: Laverne Pearson and Gloria Pittard; nephew: Raymond Troxler, Jr., Danny Richmond and Damon Pittard. Joe leaves to mourn his memory, mother: Dorothy Troxler; daughter: Myisha Butcher (Aaron); son: Joseph Lee Troxler, Jr.; grandson: Amontay Hicks; sister: Sherline Shaw (June); brothers: James, Kenneth and Willie Troxler (Ruby); and a special friend Peggy; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. A service honoring his life will be held at Zion Apostolic Church; 2610 Assembly Road, Greensboro, NC 27405 on Friday, April 26, 2019. The visitation will begin at 11:30 am and the service will follow at 12:00 pm. The burial will take place following the service at Maplewood Cemetery.
