John Wayne McCollum was born April 6, 1968 to John Wayne Waddell and the late Faye McCollum Waddell. He departed this life Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the age of 49. He attended school in the Guilford County School system. He frequently attended Miracle Outreach Church in Greensboro, NC. In 1997, he met Subenra Dotson and they were married in 2009. In their blended family there were 9 children. Wayne would do anything he could to help anyone. He will truly be missed by everyone with whom he came in contact. He was preceded in death by his mother, Faye McCollum Waddell and 1 stepson, Steven Miller. He leaves to cherish fond memories his loving wife, Subenra Dotson McCollum, 8 children, Tralisa, Tavis, Jwan, Kenyetta (Cliff), Prince, Tealisha, Jeelisha and Daven, 10 grandchildren, his father, John Waddell, 2 sisters, Nichole and April, 3 brothers, Larry, Shawn (Temika) and Timmy, 2 very special aunts, Hazel and Brenda and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
