GREENSBORO - Mrs. Jewell Jessup Griffin went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, October 25, 2011 at Wesley Long Community Hospital. A celebration of life will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge First Baptist Church, Oak Ridge. Family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by son, Bell Gattson Cato III; brother, Laddie Jessup (Doris); sisters, Wanda Harrelson, Myrlan Carter, Jackie Jessup all of Greensboro; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one aunt, Marie Lewis (Alex) and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
