Jessie Mae Womack Cardwell, 84, of Greensboro, NC, passed away on July 3, 2023. Jessie was a helpful, loving, and dedicated person who served her church, family, and friends with unwavering devotion.

Jessie is survived by her children Cynthia, Leo Jr., Michael, and Sharon. She leaves behind a legacy love and many cherished family memories. Jessie loved God, who she served in Spirit and in Truth. She was a faithful member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church and was always eager to represent her church when called upon. A Memorial services to honor Jessie's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
