Mr. Jesse M. warren was born on September 27, 1940 and went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2019. He was born in Alamance County to the late Wesley and Gracie Haith Warren. He graduated from James B. Dudley Senior High School in Greensboro, NC. Jesse worked and retired from the manufacturing industry. Jesse was a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Peggy Lee Warren of 47 years, son Mr. Rodney Warren, brothers Mr. William Linwood Warren, Mr. James Warren, Sr., Mr. John D. Warren and sister Mrs. Rosa L. Simpson. Jesse will be greatly missed and leaves precious memories to his loving and caring children, Marsha W. Lyons and April D. Potts. Stepchildren Bud J. Lewis (Kathy), Sammy Louis and Lisa Rose; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Anna Mae Louis; and other in-laws Daisy Ruth Patrick, Dorothy James (Howard), Mae Helen Lewis and Jesse Lewis (Cynthia). His lasting memories will also be cherished by his brother TJ (Geraldine) Warren, Sr. of Greensboro and sisters Mary Ann Pennix of Greensboro, Doris Ricks of Greensboro, and sister-in-law Jean Warren of Greensboro, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A service honoring his life will be held Monday December 30, 2019 at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home; 909 E. Market St. Greensboro, NC. Visitation will begin at 11:30am with service following at 12pm. Internment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
