It is with great sadness that the family of James R. Jones announces his passing after a long history of illness, on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the age of 74 years. James will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Pearl and his children, Karen (Renee), James R. Jones Jr, Chris Jones , Desmond Jones, and Brandon Jones. James will also be fondly remembered by A host of grandchildren/great grandchildren, by his siblings, Larry Jones and Lola Franklin. James was predeceased by his Mother Mary Jones Glover and brother Billy Jones. James R. Jones will be remembered as a Charismatic fun loving gentleman, who could fill any room with laughter, he was full of life and himself . We celebrate a great man and his Legacy. Funeral Service in memory of James will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2:30 p.m., at the Perry J Brown Funeral Home.
