Ms. Iva "Pam" Holt passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

A service honoring her life will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:30 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Love and Faith Christian Fellowship Church 4344 Blackberry Rd. Greensboro NC. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.

Iva L. Holt, age 59, who loved to be called "Pam" and was a loving mother, daughter, and grandmother departed her family on May 28, 2022. Pam was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on October 1, 1962. Pam graduated from James B. Dudley Senior High School in 1980. She attended Greensboro College before ultimately finishing at North Carolina A&T State University where she received a B.S. in Agriculture.

In her free time, she loved to read and color on her iPad, walk in the park with her stick, and laugh and hangout with special friends Subrenia Stephens, Wanda Waddell, Mae Waterman, Carol McNeil, "The Crew", along with others. "Mimi", as her grandkids called her, would get calls, text, and would visit Shannon and the grandkids whenever she felt like it, which was a minimum of 10 times a day.

Survived by her daughter: Shannon Mahatha-Burks (Trellis Burks); grandchildren she adored: Jalyn and Kelsey; mother: Christine Holt; dad: Ronald Courts (Barbara); brothers: Lamonte Nelson (Sonja), Deshon Anthony (Tracy), and Yusef Courts; sisters: Maya Courts and Khidja Amos. She also had a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins that surrounded her with love.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, Perry A Holt. She will be greatly missed by her family but especially her daughter. We know that we can't have you but are happy knowing that the angels have finally gotten you. As always it is never goodbye but always see you later to a gorgeous, wonderful mother.
