Irene Lemons Whitsett born on December 29, 1932 in Reidsville, NC to the late Will Lemons and Henrietta Broadnax Lemons. She departed this life on December 10th 2016 Proceeded in death by Rance Whitsett SR., Rance Whitsett JR., Jackie Whitsett and Juanita Washington. She leaves to cherish her memories 2 daughters Shirley (Joe) Whitsett, Mary Minter. 4 Sons Ronnie (Robin) Whitsett, Lenny (Lucy) Whitsett, Robert (Samantha) Whitsett, Christopher (Wanda) Whitsett, 20 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews relatives an friends. A service honoring her life will be held at the Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Chapel; 909 East Market Street, Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401 on Friday, December 16, 2016. The visitation will begin at 10:30 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am. The interment will take place following the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery; 3110 Forest Lawn Dr, Greensboro, NC 27455.
