Mr. Imani Marquis McBride was born on Thursday January 12, 1995 in Newark, NJ. He graduated from Barringer High School and went on to Essex County College to continue his education. He worked several jobs throughout his short life, but had a passion for art and music.

Imani was a social butterfly who made friends everywhere he went. He loved just kicking back with his friends, laughing, talking, and eating.

Although he was only with us for a short time, Imani will truly be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Imani is survived by his son Armani Alexander Arrais, niece Leilani Arielle Bonilla, mother Dawn McBride, father Tarif Davis, sisters Malaysia Bonilla, Amiyah McBride, Heaven Montague and Aniliyah Richardson, grandmother Dolores McBride, grandfather Robin McBride, godmother Sandra Silva Parker, fiancé Imani Campbell, and a long list of relatives and friends.

A service honoring his life will be held at Perry Funeral Home 34 Mercer St. Newark, NJ 07103 On Monday, June 7, 2021. The visitation will begin at 10:00am and the service will follow at 11:00am. Burial Evergreen Crematory Hillside, NJ .
