Howard E. Roberson born on October 3, 1938 to the late Isaac Roberson and Connie Cutler departed this life on April 10, 2013 surrounded by family and love. Howie (Uncle Howard) as he was affectionately called by friends and family grew up in New Bern, North Carolina and graduated from St. Josephâ??s Catholic School. After high school, Howie met and married the love of his life Ethel White. He often bragged about having the best wife in the world. Howie moved to New Jersey where he began a truck driving career that spanned over years. He retired from trucking in 2007 and returned to North Carolina. Howie was a proud 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of its Color Core. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Adult Choir, and a Eucharistic Minister. Howie was a avid football fan and his favorite team was the New York Giants. He had a great sense of humor and he never met a stranger.Howard Roberson was a proud family man and everyone called him â??Daddyâ??. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ethel; sons: Andre, Sean, Dean, John, Kyle, and Jeremy â?? daughters: Amalia (Miya) and Kecia,; sisters: Maggie Terry and Patricia Roberson; sister-in-laws: Carole Garay-Leon and Joyce White; brother-in-law: Johnson White, Jr.; Aunt: Myrtle Roberson; Foster Mother: Janet Warton; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
