Obituary Geroldene Caddell Walker was born on May 26, 1934 in West End, North Carolina.

She departed this life on November 11, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was the daughter of John and Ethel Caddell. She started her education in Greensboro, North Carolina.

She furthered her education in New York City at Bird S. Colar School of Nursing.

After graduating she became employed at Holly Patterson Nursing Facility as a staff nurse and worked at Elmhurst General Hospital in New York City.

She also worked at Evergreens Nursing Home and Moses Cone Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Dorothy Caddell Dunn; brothers: J.K. Caddell, Billy Wayne Caddell; daughter: Beverly Weekes Ray; and husbands: Aubrey Weekes and Lemuel Walker.

Geroldene leaves to cherish her memories children: Rhonda Kershaw, Aubrey Weekes, Jr., Darryl Weekes, all of Greensboro, North Carolina; sisters: Josephine Richmond, Maxine Davis, Clemontene Richmond, all of Greensboro; nine (9) grand- children; three (3) great grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews, cousins and friends.
