Freddy Cauthen, Sr. son of the late Hernesberry Cauthen and Annie B. McCain Cauthen was born July 27, 1943 in Kersnaw, South Carolina and departed this life May 19, 2015. The family moved to Greensboro, North Carolina when Freddy was very young. He attended Washington Street School, Lincoln High, and Dudley Senior High. He and his family joined United Institutional Baptist Church where they are still members. He was also a member of Kalif Temple 144 and a 33 degree Mason. He was a devoted father and a loving grandfather. Freddy leaves to cherish his memories, daughter: Dinah Graham of Greensboro, North Carolina; son: Freddy Cauthen, Jr. of Houston, Texas; sisters: Hattie Esterling and Annie Grace Keith; brother: Cicel Cauthen; one (1) daughter-in-law, seven (7) grandchildren, three (3) great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
